This conference offers participants an opportunity to learn about the latest developments and challenges in this industry; and, as one of the first events of its kind in the new year, attendees will have the opportunity to make new connections, solidify existing relationships, and to anticipate the business development opportunities in the year ahead.

  • Fintegration:” Bank/Fintech Partnerships Roundtable: Representatives from incumbent community banks, small business marketplace lenders, and other fintechs discuss the trend toward forming partnerships to grow market-share in the small business lending sector.

  • Loan Cycle Issues for Online Small Business Lenders: An examination of best-practices, risk management and other issues in the underwriting, funding, servicing, and collection of digitally-generated small business loans. Which cutting-edge technologies and services should small business lenders be utilizing? How are lenders dealing with the unique issue of determining the credit-worthiness of harder-to-rate small business borrowers? How has the “Small Business Borrowers’ Bill of Rights” affected the small-business lending space?

  • Investor’s Roundtable: Leading FinTech investors and others discuss their outlook for the online small business lending sector. What types of investors are showing interest, and what are the opportunities for returns in this sector?  What makes a non-bank small business lender stand out – and what raises red-flags when considering potential investments in this space?

  • Small Business Loan Structures: Structuring small-business loans in the digital lending ecosystem is more than offering unsecured lines of credit. This session will examine the various lending models based on receivables, factoring, purchase order financing, inventories & more. What areas are experiencing most activity and what are some of the unique issues in structuring deals involving originators, lenders, investors and others?

  • CEOs Roundtable: CEO’s from leading firms in the small business online lending space provide insights on the road ahead.
