Gaye has co-founded Vaha Sustainable Energy in 2008 with a mission to address the energy and climate issues we are facing for the next decades by developing renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. The company offers solar power installations, energy efficiency consulting and LEED certification services to residential, commercial, industrial and institutional clients in California, Florida and East Coast. With more than 130 MW solar power installation and several million dollars saved through their energy efficiency services and solar power systems, Vaha is one of the leading energy specialists in the region. Having led Vaha for the last 9 years, Gaye has accumulated tremendous experience and knowledge of the renewable energy business and has great insight about what lies ahead in the future of the energy industry. Before Vaha Group, Gaye worked in business development and branding for Classic Media, a division of Dreamworks, and launched consumer goods products under their classic brands. She holds an engineering degree as well as an MBA from Cornell University. She is a proud member of the President’s Council for Cornell Women, which only has 300 members worldwide including Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Gabrille Giffords. Gaye lives in sunny California with her husband and two young children.
