Joe Stone has over 20 years of experience advising corporate, creditor and private equity clients involved in complex capital structure challenges. He has executed a wide range of restructuring, M&A and capital transactions involving both public and private corporations. Having founded and managed two oil and gas companies and participated on multiple boards of directors, Joe focuses on bringing a strategic and organizational perspective to the financial advice and execution provided for clients.
Through the course of his career Joe has advised companies and their stakeholders in energy, maritime, technology manufacturing and consumer products among other industries.
Prior to joining Blackhill, Joe helped launch two successful E&P companies that still operate in Texas after holding leadership positions in the M&A groups of Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank. Joe holds an MBA (Sord Scholar) from McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas, and a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University. He is on the boards of directors of Magnegas (Nasdaq: MNGA), Composite Piping Technology, LLC and HTC Holdings, LLC and received recognition in 2016 by being named by D CEO Magazine as one of “The Most Powerful Business Leaders in Dallas Fort Worth.”
