Keith Daniels is a partner at Carl Marks Advisors with over 20 years of experience as a financial restructuring advisor. Mr. Daniels has served in roles as an executive at Fortune 500 and middle market companies, interim executive, and a leader in the development and implementation of business improvement strategies. He has had great success optimizing stakeholder value by providing advisory services to management, owners, boards of directors, senior secured lenders, bondholders, and private equity firms across a broad spectrum of industries. Mr. Daniels specializes in balance sheet restructurings, operational turnarounds, budget and market analysis, cash/liquidity forecasting, creditor negotiations, refinancing, bankruptcy and divestiture of non-strategic assets. While he has experience in the finance and vertical sectors, he has managed projects in a number of industries including consumer products, media, food manufacturing, grocery, distribution, transportation, call centers, government/defense, oil & gas and non-profit industries. Additionally, he has worked on a variety of business structures including ESOPs, CO-OPs, publicly and privately held businesses. Before joining Carl Marks Advisors, Mr. Daniels held finance and operational roles at companies such as McMaster-Carr Supply, Disney, Philips Electronics and NewellRubbermaid, where he identified and drove revenue enhancement initiatives as well as identified and implemented numerous cost savings initiatives. He also served as CFO of Ascendia Brands and CFO & COO of Town and Country Living. Mr. Daniels received his BA from Princeton University, an MBA from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, and is a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania and Virginia. His activities include Co-Chair, Princeton University Schools Committee, Philadelphia Region and serving as auditor for the township where he resides.
