Mark Solovy is co-head of the technology finance practice at Monroe Capital, a private credit asset management firm with approximately $4.7 billion of committed and managed capital under management, specializing in direct lending and special situations investing. Investment types include unitranche financings; cash flow, asset based and enterprise value based loans; and equity co-investments. Prior to joining Monroe, Mark was a Managing Director at Hercules Capital. He also previously co-founded GunnAllen Venture Partners, the venture capital and private equity division of GunnAllen Financial, a financial services firm with over $5 billion of AUM. Mark began his professional career as a corporate attorney at K&L Gates. Mark earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.S. in Business Administration (summa cum laude) from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. Mark serves on the Board of the Wharton Private Equity & Venture Capital Alumni Association.
