Michael Schwartz is a Business Development Director at Moody’s Analytics. In his role, Michael facilitates development of small business lending and credit decisioning solutions for financial institutions. As a member of the Moody’s Analytics Small Business Initiative, he provides industry insights from past experience in the commercial banking and fintech sectors. Prior to joining Moody’s Analytics, Michael served as Customer Success Director for fintech start-up Fundera, a marketplace created to connect small business owners with banks and alternative lenders. Michael also spent several years with PNC Bank, starting with the commercial underwriting group and then transitioning to the specialty finance segment, supporting small businesses in obtaining financing through SBA loan programs. Michael holds a BS in Finance with an Economics minor from The College of Business Administration of the University of Pittsburgh.
